The BIG EAT Returns!

Back for its seventh year, the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership and participating downtown restaurants are proud to present the return of “The Big Eat.” Every Tuesday night, beginning January 6 until January 27, more than 30 great downtown restaurants will offer 50 percent discounts off of their signature dishes. ARTivity on the Green, a Public Art Initiative of the AFAS Group Construction is in progress at ARTivity on the Green! The city’s first public art park is located on Liberty Street near 7th Street. The park will serve as a link between the Downtown Arts District and the Innovation Quarter. Plus, it will encourage further development in the 500 and 600 blocks of Liberty Street. The Merry Month of May

MAYbe winter is finally over. MAYbe it will rain only during the week and be sunny and warm on the weekends. MAYbe. Summer On Trade: The Low Counts

Wowie Zowie! The first two Summer on Trade concerts have attracted HUGE crowds of people!  It’s just wonderful to see so many people on Trade Street. The shops and galleries that have been open during the evening hours have benefitted as well. Heavy Rebel Car and Bike Show

Finnigan’s Wake just posted this on Facebook. I couldn’t have said it any better. I’m not a car person particularly, but there is plenty of artistic inspiration here in all the shapes and colors and trimmings of these vintage vehicles. Saturday on Trade St. is the 13th Annual Heavy Rebel Weekender car and bike show. It runs from 10AM-5PM. If you’ve come before you remember how fun it is.
