Sunday, May 3rd, was the first of this year’s Arts on Sunday festival series, featuring to-die-for rock and roll by the area’s finest rock and rollers that performed as the Luxuriant Sedans. Plus dozens of artists and craftsmen lined the 500 and 600 blocks of Trade with as good a variety of handmade goods as you’ll find anywhere, all in one place, on a Sunday afternoon under beautiful blue skies and pleasantly warm temperatures. Other dates and themes for Arts on Sunday are May 10 (Mother’s Day; May 17 (Rhythm of Art), and May 24th (Sunday Get Down). There is a Kid’s Corner every week at this series of AFAS Group events.
